On Friday, thousands paid their respects to the people who died in the Thursday 17 February, 2011, pre-dawn raid at Lulu Roundabout in the Bahrain capital Manama.
The raid led to the death of four men: Mahmood Ahmed Makki (21), Ali Khudhair (58), Ahmed Al-Mo'men (22) from Sitra, and Isa Abdulhasan (61) from Karzakan. Mourners followed funeral processions in Daih, Karzakan and Sitra on Friday morning.

After Friday prayers at Al-Fateh Mosque, thousands of citizens and members of the Indian and Pakistani communities participated in a pro-government pro-King march despite rumours that the march would be canceled.

In another unfortunate turn of events, protesters heading towards Lulu Roundabout were shot by military forces and the injured were carried to nearby Salmaniya Hospital which has become the focal point of protesting after the Lulu Roundabout raids.
