Ricardo Kotscho reproduces [pt] a letter by Hamilton Almeida in which he tells the story of the inventor of the radio Roberto Landell de Moura – a Brazilian priest born 150 years ago (January 21, 1861). According to Almeida, though Landell “patented the radio in Brazil (1901)” it was Guglielmo Marconi, the inventor of the wireless telegraph, who obtained recognition.

No neither one of these persons actually invented radio. It was Delbert Roberts the worlds only inventor in the time period 1869-1953 He invented at his worlds first skyscraper the Penobscott building Detroit Mi. wjr was the first station to broadcast around 1929. The telegraph may have been invented by myself in 1957 at the grand trunk railway office in conversation with the ticket agent. On a subsequent trip to southbend indiana from Port Huron mi I definately invented western union money wireing I think it was 1965-6
No I am wrong I invented the tuner with my adopted father Robert E. Thomas The first set was the Zenith transocianic. I invented the first television with my adoptive grandfather Adrian Hull I theorized the picture tube flyback and xray tube. I invented an improved tuner and volume control with Lemelson and the zenith portable also. With wilton I theorized electrical power generation at the Marysville power plant in Port Huron Mi beginning in 1954 at 9 months old.
