Brazil: satirical voting campaign goes viral

A topic that has been making waves throughout the Brazilian Internet is the satirical campanha #votoserrapq ^[1] (why I will vote for Serra campaign) [pt]. Organised by the blog Grupo Brasil e Desenvolvimento ^[2] (Brasil & Development Group) [pt], the campaign consists of video footage ^[3] [pt] of citizens sarcastically explaining why they will vote for social democrat candidate Jose Serra in the presidential elections. Reasons ranged from being in favour of the death penalty to restricting “human rights to the right humans.”
