Myanmar: Cyber Attacks shut down websites

Cyber attacks have shut down the websites of critical Myanmar media groups like The Irrawaddy, Mizzima and the Democratic Voice of Burma. The attacks are believed to be part of a plan to censor news reports related to the coming November elections in Myanmar.

Brothers and sisters of Burma support one another in this war with Thitsaphout Than Shwe; destroy this evil traitor and his regime. Members of the Burmese military defend your brothers and sisters no longer should any of your family members have to be murdered by Than Shwe, no longer should the voice of freedom be attacked.
Members of the Shan and Karen forces are also your brothers in arms join with them and correct this wrong done to you by Than Shwe’s evil junta. People in every part of Burma march forth and remove Than Shwe from the face of this earth. A war much worse than what’s happening now is coming Than Shwe doesn’t care how many of his military will die; he is prepared to sacrifice you to achieve his evil goals. The people of Burma have been tortured far too long by Than Shwe’s thugs.
