A disgraceful article. There are people who have suffered for years to find a solution to the occupation, and it is classed as an occupation by every nation other than turkey, and your poorly researched article reflects the ignorance of similar people who know nothing about the situation yet feel they can have their say regardless. Turkey were allowed to make over 20 amendments to the Annan plan. In theory, the status qui wd have remained exactly the same other than the world having to recognise the illegal regime. Over 70% of Greek Cypriots voted against because it would have meant giving up and accepting the power of turkey. Go and speak to those people who were affected by aggression, the rapes and murders, having family missing fir nearly 40 years and losing your home and over 3000 years of Greek heritage. Stick to writing about things you actually research.
You need to do your research and Greek propaganda isn’t a valid source!
