Yesterday afternoon brought with it some rain, gusts and dust to the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and neighbouring Bahrain, spurring a buzz on Twitter and other social networking platforms.
Iranian bloggers such as Sight reported that Iranian State executed five political prisoners including Farzad Kamangar,a teacher, on Sunday. They were accused of terrorist activities. Sight writes “news was short. they executed all of them. Tears stop me writing anything more.”
Over the course of two months, the community site Twitter Colombia analyzed 3 million Tweets from 20,000 users in the country, as way to take a snapshot of the use of this microblogging tool.
