France/Spain: Blog censorship

The Quemando Iglesias [Burning Churches] blog reports [es] on the forced shut down of the zer egin duzue jonekin [What they did to Jon?], a blog that had gathered support for the investigation of the death of the ETA militant Jon Anza, supposedly in the hands of the Spanish State Security Forces in Iparralde [North Basque Country, France].

  • ETA “militants” are terrorists that spread death and terror over Spain and Basque Country. 800 deads in 30 years are not sufficient to call them by that name?

Moreover, Jon Anza seems to have died due to his terminal cancer. His autopsy has not revealed any more than a multisystemic fail, and there is no evidence for torture nor traces of any kind of violence that permit to think seriously on a murder. Only those who would be benefitted by it do still and insidiously suggest that Anza was killed.

Global Voices Online should make more contrast before saying things such that death was “supposedly in the hands of the Spanish State Security Forces”: only people who has not condemned the true killing of a French policeman that precise week maintain that Anza was killed, in front of allthe opposite evidences that point toward that his death was due to natural causes.

  • ETA militants are torroristas? Ok, but what about Felipe Gonzales and the GAL group? Aren’t they terrorists either? Or maybe PP and the Franco regime? It’s easy to call the other a terrorist… Way Gatza remain in jail for 30 years and Barrionuevo or Galindo stood for only months?

GAL, BVE and other groups (financed by PSOE) killed over 350 basques. That tells you something?

About Anza, you’re talking about an independent autopsy? Guess not, you’re talking about an spanish-led autopsy in a place that was the first one to be searched and nothing was found… Just after loads of pressure Anza’s body was micaculously found!

Guess that also works for Igor Portu, MArtxelo Otamendi and hundreads of others that were torured by the Spanish State but the “independent” investigation pointed to self-inflicted injuries… Even with the condemn of UN and Amnisty Intl.

In my opinion – and also in the opinion of Izquierda Abertzale, Aralar, Alternatiba, Lokarri, Gestoras Pro-Amnistia, and other organizations – Anza was murdered by Spain.

Spain is just conditioning Spanish people in a fear and anger against Basque people to make them blind of a non ability to act upon their economical crisis.
