The IslamOnline [1] employees sit-in continues after some achievements. After the situation escalated [2] threatening the striking employees to leave without getting their financial rights from the new administration, things turned to another direction in what seems like the beginning of a victory for the employees [3].
Nadia ElAway [4], an ex-journalist in IOL, tweets from the strike location at the Cairo Bureau:

Mohammed [8] who is also a former IOL employee and who is following the strike closely, tweets:

Mohammed Ghafari [12], who is one of those responsible for live-tweeting and live-streaming the strike, explains the goal of continuing the strike:

Ahmed AbdelFattah [14] mentions the names of the sacked board members, previously mentioned by Nadia [5]:

The strikers created a Youtube channel [21] and a blog with the name IslamOnline Voice [22] to centralize their updates.

The strikers made the following video expressed as a spoken protest to the potential restructuring of IslamOnline that would result in an ultra conservative model alienating the vast majority of 120,000 daily visitors.
