Armenia: Eurovision 2010

Unzipped comments on what it considers to be the two main contenders, Mihran & Emmy and Eva Rivas, as Armenia's entry into this year's Eurovision Song Contest. The blog says that it is not entirely happy with all the choices on offer, but at least notices how coverage in the past has now transformed itself into extra hits today.

“Apricot Stone” is a beautiful song sang very nicely, by a very good singer, unlike “Hey…”. Emmy has no voice, and she was screaming like her fingers were being squeezed in a vice

First, you should first learn to spell the word Apricot before making a comment about the song. Second, it is a beautiful song that represents Armenia, not just some fake rap that Europe despises because it reminds Europeans of Americans whom they so dislike. Don’t forget that it is a political contest and we need to present a song that will win the hearts of Armenians living in Europe (who are our voters) most of whom would actually love to hear a song that would remind them of their motherland, rather than scream Hey for three straight minutes.

I totally agree with Liana. “Hey” is or actually was nothing compared with “Apricot Stone,” a song that will surely win hearths and minds of thousands of people.

Mihran is a star in USA who is Eva? By the way Liana dont tell me what to do ok? And the europeans dont care your apricot stone, apricot or your motherland. The europe has already tired of your stupid songs about yor motherland or your ancient culture. They need something modern as mihran has he is a great dancer he is dancing like Michael Jackson he should attract the all europeans with his dance.
