Haiti: “Our hope has not died”

A truly inspiring update from The Livesay [Haiti] Weblog ^[1]: “The reports of violence – we don't get those. Have not seen it. Have not experienced it. Nothing even remotely close. People are helping each other ^[2] and are warm and kind and humble. I only know one thing – Our hope has not died, it is not buried in that rubble” – observations that are reinforced over at HAITI, Land of Freedom ^[3]: “NOT ONCE have we witnessed a single act of aggression or violence. Haiti can be proud of its survivors. Their dignity and decency in the face of this tragedy is itself staggering.”
