Following a previous post from Flying Carpets and Broken Pipelines on European concerns with the situation of freedom of expression in Azerbaijan [1], and especially following the imprisonment of video blogging youth activists Adnan Hajizade [2] and Emin Milli [3], the blog comments on remarks made by the country's Minister of Education. The blog says that accusations of foreign countries “brainwashing” Azeri youth studying abroad are simplistic and overlooking the obvious [4]. Students are simply “learning, teaching and exploring…”
