it depends on what you perceive as economic and for who a dn to who it acrues benefits. Our failure to comprehend the totality of economic sense an its benefits always leave us losers. When does the economy picks up? When she delivers the deliverables and services and above all provide enabling facets that make life a joy for all and not for one group or class. But our eyes and training has been basedon what the west has done which is not bad except how we implement it. If we start measuring doing well by the stock exchange we are obviously halusinated by growing the well to do more and more. If school records show drop in school going, and work levels dropping, and services none available the economy is recuperating and far from taking of. We cannot engage in politics were we literally praise emptiness in the name of ensuing change. Lets build institutions which support change and offer hope for the ordinary. failure to create jobs could be deliberate efforts by those who fear success of the opposition. refusal to endorse permanent parameters of peace means even if growth begin to show the eveil that stiffled it will inset and disturb if not cut out economic progress. Economy has to do with the political climate. Zimbabwe’s political climate bonders on hypocrisy of those who have lost and who will lose if genuine and free elections are held in Zimbabwe. When surely the rural areas are burning with hate from abuse, who trigers the fire of growth when population is playing hide and seek game with politicians.
Lets with honesty clear forthcoming elections and then watch the miracles of economic take off. Let urge for true supervision of what is good and institutionalize rule of law then we will weed out mulcontents and begin witness economic take off and it will not be for long.
