Veronica, BTW what do you think of FEMEN? It doesn’t look very grass-roots and rather vulgar.
They seem pretty grassroots to me, and while I can’t say I agree with them on everything (like, what’s the use of asking those Turkish sex tourists to imagine “our men” coming to Turkey with the sole purpose of sleeping with the Turkish women?), I do think they are a positive force. As Vladimir Vysotsky used to sing, “Настоящих буйных мало – вот и нету вожаков.” At some level, this is true about FEMEN, I guess – they are wild, and this is good.
