I live in Taos, New Mexico. On Tuesday, January 19, a young woman from our community was murdered in Antigua, while visiting. She went to high school with my daughter, and I know her mother. I feel heartbroken. I saw your gender violence posting, and I felt like I wanted to step out and post a notice. I don’t know how I can help….gender violence happens in America so often. I just feel very, very sad that her life has past in this way. I have looked online, at some of the past two years reports in Antigua, of murders. I sense a struggle going on, both economically and politically. I wonder what changes are needed? Sincerely, Julie Norem-Hawley
