I love to see how the indigenous people of the world are empowered through microfinance to be able to trade their traditionally made products.
A community of indigenous Mayan Artisans in Guatemala produces woven scarves for Aldea Artisans ( http://www.aldeaartisans.com ). The website has great info about the community, and even brief biographies of each woman who produces their scarves.
