Palestine: Scenes from Gaza

For uprooted Palestinians, a trip home is a hard and painful experience. Palestinian blogger Ibrahim [1] [Ar] visits Gaza, and finds himself speechless. He leaves us with a photo album to sum up his visit.

The blogger, who lives in Europe and runs the Palestine Technoblog, spent a whole month visiting Gaza. He writes:

وكنت قد نويت أن أكتب عن الرحلة ، ولكني لا أجد الكلام المناسب، بجد الرحلة كانت ممتعة بكل ما في الكلمة من معنى . ولكنها لم تكن كافية ، حاولت أن أطفآ ما بداخلي من شوق وحنين ، ولكني لم استطع لذا سأحاول بكل ما اوتيت من قوة أن أعود بشكل دائم إلى غزة قريبا بإذن الله . أما لهذه التدوينة فسأضع بعض الصور بشكل تسلسلي . أترككم مع الصور
I had planned to write about the trip, but I can't find the right words. Seriously, the trip was exciting, with all that the word means. But the trip wasn't enough. I tried to extinguish all the sense of longing I had in me, bit I couldn't – however hard I tried. I hope to be able to return to Gaza permanently by the will of God soon.
