Srilanka is in the cross road to recovery from its long ethnic conflict which all started after the 1956 and 1971 one language one religion policy. The present government with international help had defeated the civil war which was threatening the local economy like a cancer all these years. Now stands accused of human rights abuses, clamp dawn on free media, police excess and curb on opposition political parties. Worst thing affecting the integrity of the Government of Srilanka is about the IDPs in the war held in high unhealthy security camps and the excess committed by the armed forces against civilians.

Divisions among the politicians for power has spread into the armed forces threatening the future stability of the state foundation. Split among politicians has raised fever among political high ups, with the tops claiming responsibility for the war victories trying to to introduce family clan members into all the top positions.

Members from the armed forces also claiming responsibilities for the defeat are parading for political high positions displacing professional technocrats to exile. Resulting episode will only push the entire country into more isolation’s and the commodity price increase than the civil war era.

This huge frustration among the majority of the civilians among voters will Eco in the next general elections to be held soon is yet to be seen. What is the law and order situation?, in this fast increasing wide spread public protest against the armed forces is going to demonstrate. Already the law and order in the country has miserably failed in some of its judgements regarding important land mark judgements.

many people r wanting to discredit SL and create devisions among people and take away the freedom that was won. and some do this by writing and others , more creatively.

Truth is many are worried the freedom won by Pon Ramanathan and Kandasamy(GCSU worker) are turning to a criminal state. That is why international human rights organisations are prosecuting Srilanka.
