Russia: Stalin's Grandson vs. Novaya Gazeta

Eternal Remont comments on the lawsuit filed by Stalin's grandson against a Russian newspaper: “By the same legal resoning, someone could sue the Holocaust Museum for besmirching Hitler’s good name. But the Kremlin is despratly trying to rehabilitate Stalin's image these days.”

    Russia is beyond parody. They are like petulant children (but with nukes). Can’t face up to the realities of their past, re-writing history, paranoid with a persecution complex (OK – they did get the rough end of the pinapple in 1941+ but they do overdo the “we wus robbed” stuff), emasculated judiciary, heavily restricted press/media. Hitler’s mindset just moved East after the war and is still thriving under Putin and his glove puppet. They’ll be invading Poland within 10 years…..
