    er… as far as i can tell from that article, it was just an exaggerated title. Even the Danwei article made it as such:

    “…It eventually caught the attention of the mainstream media, which determined that Shen Qiang and his wife and child had not actually been formally “arrested”; they had been taken to the police station to “cooperate with the investigation” (the nature of which, as noted above, was never made clear).”
