Window on Eurasia writes [1] about a blog item [2] (RUS) on the Politkovskaya murder trial posted by journalist Vadim Rechkalov (LJ user voinodel) on his blog at Moskovsky Komsomolets, a Russian daily: “Vadim Rechkalov says that a close examination of the record, including a slide show the government offered suggests that prosecutors, reflecting the views of their bosses, were more interested in discrediting her than in gaining a conviction of those against whom they had brought charges.” Rechkalov's text has generated 378 comments so far, and there are two other discussions (RUS) on his LJ blog, here [3] and here [4].
