Belarus, Ireland: “Minsk, Russia” at Dublin Airport

Andrei Khrapavitski re-posts a photo taken by LJ user barilotti (BEL) at the Dublin Airport: an info poster there lists Minsk, the capital of Belarus, as part of Russia. “How about hanging a map of Europe with Ireland marked as part of the United Kingdom?” comments Khrapavitski.

Well, hell, Konnander’s remark down to the right of this window sounds like none other than the United States. No room for deviance. No control over its reader response. Fundamental predisposition to over-simplify. WHY are Russians and Americans not having weekly BBQs with each other?!? We sound like the same country.

Hanging a map of Europe with Ireland marked as part of the United Kingdom needs to be considered thoroughly. Moreover, you can have the most reliable parking facilities at the airport through the remarkable Secure Car Parking Gatwick
