Pakistan: Inching Towards A Failed State

Muneeb Ali comments on the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore: “I must admit. I am scared. For the first time, the glaring reality that Pakistan is a failed state is sinking in. We are all waiting for a train-wreck, with everyone on board. And I believe that very recently we passed a tipping point. The stage is all set. All that is missing now is a religious revolution.”

  • This will be the end of cricket for Pakistan.

Mr Muneeb Ali you are big time mistaken by saying that Pakistan is a failed state. My friend these kind of incidents take place everywhere around the country; please open you eyes and see whats going around in Srilanka and tamil tigers what happened in London regarding bomb attack what happend in USA regarding that 9/11. What do you think are these also failed states because bomb attack took place.
Whatever your beliefs are my friend don’t confuse your thoughts and ideas with Pakistan being a failed state! You need to assess and observe whats happening in the whole world before passing this daring comment about Pakistan being a failed state! I hope you will understand what i am trying to tell you.

  • News about arrests of human rights advocates and politicians are gathered at Long March LIVE updates . As this aggregator also has an RSS feed , would it be possible to add a feed reader for it in this Pakistan page?

Here’s the problem Ali…this isn’t an isolated incident. Go to any major new site and you see a bombing here, a terrorist cell there. Pakistan has no control over the terrorist element the US unthinkingly pushed into its borders. Lahore just goes to show they no longer care about the state of Pakistan, what little of it is left.
