Bosnia & Herzegovina: Support for Florence Hartmann

Amila Bosnae writes about the case of Florence Hartmann, journalist and former spokeswoman for Carla del Ponte, who published a book about the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) called “Peace and Punishment” (”Paix et chatiment: Les guerres secretes de la politique et de la justice internationales”, Flammarion, 2007), was indicted of contempt of the tribunal, and “risks seven years of imprisonment or a fine of 100.000 Euros.”

  • This indictment is both unappropriate (she did not do what she’s being accused of) and unfair (judges are both prosecutors and judges).

Please go to our website, it’s written in french and english, sig our online petition, become a member of the Suppport Commitee.
