Amila Bosnae writes about the case of Florence Hartmann, journalist and former spokeswoman for Carla del Ponte, who published a book about the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) called “Peace and Punishment” (”Paix et chatiment: Les guerres secretes de la politique et de la justice internationales”, Flammarion, 2007), was indicted of contempt of the tribunal, and “risks seven years of imprisonment or a fine of 100.000 Euros.”

This indictment is both unappropriate (she did not do what she’s being accused of) and unfair (judges are both prosecutors and judges).
