Israel: Israeli and Palestinian Doctors Fix Baby's Heart

Israeli and Palestinian doctors collaborated last week to save the life of a newborn. The Palestinian child and his grandmother were transported to Tel Aviv for emergency heart surgery. Funded by Save a Child's Heart, an Israeli nonprofit dedicated to procuring urgent medical care for Palestinian children, the organization has helped over 1,000 Palestinian and 70 Iraqi find life saving operations in Israel so far. Israelity has the video and story.

  • Do you think this will enhance the dirty face of the bloody Israel ?

What touching news, Maya. After reading this of course we have suddenly forgotten that hundreds of Palestinian children are being killed by Israel’s military. Or haven’t we?

I imagine after his recovery the baby will be sent back to his happy parents. That is, if they are still alive. What treatment will Israel give him then? Tear him into pieces by a shell? Burn him with phosphor? Kill him by a bomb that leaves nothing of his body?
