From Britain to Morocco to Gaza

Reda Blog on what connects Prince Edward's animal cruelty, the Moroccan police's crackdown on protesters, and the Gaza bombings:

Ainsi donc un prince (Edward de son nom) est sous le coup d’une enquête en Grande-Bretagne pour avoir supposément battu un chien. Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais j’ai sur le champs pensé en voyant les images de cette nouvelle à ce qui se passait sous d’autres cieux où ce ne sont pas les chiens qui reçoivent des coups de matraques mais plutôt des diplômés chômeurs. Ceci dit, il s’en trouvera sûrement des gens qui diront que ces derniers sont quand même chanceux de ne pas recevoir des missiles sur leurs têtes.

So a prince (Edward is his name) is under investigation in Great Britain for having supposedly beaten a dog.  I don't know why, but upon seeing pictures of this news, I thought right away about what happened under different skies, where it's not dogs who get hit by batons, but rather out of work graduates.  That said, there are surely those who would say that the former are lucky not to have bombs falling on their heads.
