hi dear all friends we are the world. remember???? let me tell you something. something that about evils who wore human skin. myanmar is ruled by evils for many years ago till today and in the future and may be so on.this is so tough under evils rule. if you fight with myanmar means you fight with evils. but evils power is very powerful. now in myanmar, people has no power compare to evils. if you go agaist evils they will kil you, will eat you, will give you so much suffering.to get rid of evils myanmar people will need much of power. so can you be power supplier of myanmar people????
Evils power is nothing compared to ppls….may be they have gun…but always remember u have numbers..so unite urself. We want to see democrcy in mayanmar.I know wat it takes to be a citizen of military controled country..we passed those horoble days and we bangladeshi ppl fought for independence as well as democracy..we r going for an election coming this december..and I hope Burma will also get democracy..and we bangladeshi ppl always behind the poor ppl of mayanmar who is fighting for democracy..but the thing is u have to show the world that junta gov is behind this recent dispute…nothing to do with burmise ppl…so get ur self on street…we will help u if u need…
Bangladesh wrongfully claim the territory of the UNION. AD7 exploration site clearly belongs to Union of Myanmar where OYSTER ISLAND of Myanmar is located close by to AD7 site.

@Miramar:
What it has got to do with Oyster Island of Myanmar? It does not depend on which island is nearer to the site. Before you make comments on any country’s (not only Bangladesh) claim, it is better if we first go through Act/Laws set internationally to determine the territorial water boundary. Right? Then we can figure it out who is claiming wrongly. According to this act, the terriorial water is determined 180 degree (North-South) centering the last point under a country’s region.
Therefore, if you draw a straight line (North South i.e. vertically) from Teknaf (last point) you will see that the exploration site falls under Bangladesh’s water territory and Oyster Island falls under Myanamar (rightfully). And this is the same reason why St. Martin Island belongs to Bangladesh not to Myanmar.
I hope I have justified my points. If you still require any further information please check “Territorial Waters and Maritime Zones Act 1974, Act No. XXVI of 1974” in the Internet.
Thanks
Asif and all,
Thanks for your response. Here’s mine.
Here are the links to verify rules and laws concerning International marine time territorial rights.

Both Myanmar/Burma (join 1951) and Bangladesh (join 1976) are members of UN International Marinetime Organization.

Look and explore in detail the explanation of territorial boundaries BEFORE 1987 and AFTER 1987. This demo clearly demonstrate the territorial boundaries epicenter on “SeaLand” point/location. As human develops so is the technicality and complexity involves thus more modern, precise, knowledge, understanding and realistic approaches, contemplating on rules and laws that needs changes/amend or develop or define for the purpose of fair justification and perfection. Humankind never ceases to explore and redefine into better and finer stages.
Laws are made by humans, humans are NOT perfect thus, laws can be change or amend for perfection. Especially “obsolete and outdated, irrelevant ones”. Humans are always on endeavor in pursuit for perfection or explore the unknown or uncharted territory or issue or matters. The improvement of human achievement in terms of knowledge and wisdom is limitless.
Regards.
Hi all,
I’m a Burmese, I feel proud of that, and I love my country v-e-r-y much. We are very peaceful people, and we never want war with any nation. Unfortunately our so called government want an immediate war because they want to divert people’s attention from democracy. This crisis is nothing but an issue which is made in overnight. The Military Junta here is so tough that, they will even kill anyone who can even think to disobey them. You people are telling us to riot in the streets! Do you think it’s at all possible here in Myanmar? The junta will kill or capture everyone and will terminate all threats. Can you ever think what they can do with me if I said all these words in front of them? They will cut me into pieces like a butcher or chain me in the darkest cell of their prison for rest of my life! As I told earlier peaceful Burmese people never wanted any violation, and this is the only reason why an evil power is ruling our country for so long. Even in future the possibility of a revolution is considerably low. Without foreign aid it’s impossible to get back the democracy. So, I’ll be more than happy if Bangladesh invade Myanmar (definitely without killing any innocent life) and make our junta flee! Only then we can dream about democracy…
Dear Miramar:
Thanks for your useful links. In response to your comments:
It is not clear what you meant “Laws are made by humans, humans are NOT perfect thus, laws can be change or amend for perfection”. Ofcourse, laws are made by humans and perfection is guaranteed if it involves not any particular individual making laws but an organization like UN consisting of 200+ countries.
It looks like you meant this law is imperfect because it does not serve Myanmar’s interest(?) and you want this to be amended to make it perfect (in terms of serving Myanmar’s interest ?). I think this is very common sense, we are not right people to conclude that these laws are obsolete/imperfect/unapplicable as there are other people, specialists, scientists, geologist etc internationally to justify that. The important thing is, when a law is made by org like UN, it applies not only to Bangladesh/Myanmar but to all countries, and every country must respect and follow that and this is how you respect other countries.
When I came to know about these, I read Junta sent the daewoo ships (with rig) escorted by two warships to explore for gas in that disputed area which they claimed to be under their region (later they sent another warship after Bangladesh’s protest). The very first question that comes in my mind and I am sure you should ask yourself too, why a country would send warships to guard the rigs for exploring the area which they claim under their own territory?? Why do I need to send warhips for doing something in my own region?? I came to know from a defence forum that, even their naval officers on those warships was not even aware why they were sent along with the daewoo ship.
Couple of months back, Myanmar’s Senior Vice President arrived in Bangladesh and promised (so did Bangladesh) there will be no exploration in the disputed area unless and until this contradiction is resolved by 2011 (deadline set by UN). As we can see now, that Bangladesh kept the promise whereas Myanmar’s Junta failed to keep their promise and it clearly tells us that how unfriendly, unlawful and unreliable Myanmar’s Junta is to their neighbouring countries and they cannot be trusted under any circumstances. I am sure you are aware about Thailand-Myanmar similar conflict on their territory issues.
There is no doubt that Myanmar Junta is diverting people attention by creating this sort of tension as Bamar rightly pointed out.
Best Regards
“@The Truth : Without foreign aid it’s impossible to get back the democracy. So, I’ll be more than happy if Bangladesh invade Myanmar (definitely without killing any innocent life) and make our junta flee! Only then we can dream about democracy… ”
I really feel sorry for Myanmar people.Just think about this, when a citizen of a sovereign country asks to invade it’s own country! they really are crying for the democracy as we cried at late 80’s. Keep the believe democracy in yourself intact.that will show the path to win the democracy and throw away the juntas.
@Miramar where is your replies for asif’s last comment?defeated?huh?
what do you mean by laws are imperfect as they are made by people? then who can make perfect laws?you juntas?yah yah.they surely can.because they are not human! they are rats hiding in a hole secured by 4,40,000 paper soldiers.
Myanmar gov is an international pariah. Bangladesh is a democracy, with a much larger economy, industrial capacity, professional armed force, with capacity to raise funds internationally, & will undoubtedly be able to muster international support, in terms of arms & finance. It has a large community worldwide. In the initial stage, a war may appear to be a stalemate, but over time, Myanmar will get a thrashing, its generals will go into hiding, if not caught or killed, & gov overthrown. The Myanmar people themselves don’t want these crackpots in power, and will probably help us in setting up democracy there, and sort out our differences at the same time, with a new civilian goverment.
