Russia: “Lenin Jugend is 90″

Sean Guillory of Sean's Russia Blog writes about the 90th anniversary of Komsomol, quoting a former functionary: “It was the best school for managers!” Dmitri Minaev of De Rebus Antiquis Et Novis, who has “never been in komsomol,” shares personal memories in an item of his own, and also comments on Sean's entry: “School for managers… Could be. Is this why I, an engineer and a natural enemy for all managers, can’t talk to a manager without wishing to give him a punch or two, in the hope that the increasing Brownian motion in the stuff that fills his skull might make him THINK?”
