India: Assam blasts

India's troubled north-eastern Assam state was rocked by a series of coordinated blasts today. Praful reports that 60 people were killed and more than 200 injured. “Although ULFA’s involvement in the serial blasts in Assam is suspected, the intelligence sources believe that Bangladesh-based HuJI could be behind the blasts,” opines the blogger.

    Friends,
Its a shame on the Muslim people of assam as whatever has happened in the past few days has been a massacre and a great disaster for the peace state.
Flooded with greenry in its surroundings and brotherhood among the people assam a land of culture and society has faced a lot of troubles in the past days and that has been a great matter to the general people of this place, even the ones who are not effected by it.
I am from Asam and i think that whosoever has done this bloody thing must be punished and put behind bars.Actually these masacres are due to negligence of the government and police personnel.
That is all what i can say at present and lot more things are to be said but i wish to see more of what the government takes action about what has happened.

The recent blasts whosoever had done is a horrendous crime they had done for the peace loving people of Assam.Being a Muslim I now feel really ashamed by these acts. The people who are behind these acts should be traced and punished. But one thing our people should remember to keep a strict vigil in the surroundings they are living.

    Hi all,

would like to share my feelings with u coz it’s time to be united. It was a forgettable October monthend and a sad end to the puja celebrations. With this i would also like to pay tribute to the lost lives. Those who r gone would not return back but let’s pledge that we the common people would do every possible bit to bring back the peace & harmony of this region.Whoever is guilty of these blasts should be punished soon. But evasive precautions n security measures by the govt would have avoided the tragedy and we can say that it is totally their negligence towards the common mans security.I love my North East n hope that each n everybody raises his voice.
