Japan: Refunds from Saizeriya

News that Saizeriya [ja], a Japanese restaurant chain offering low-cost Italian food, is offering refunds for people who ate pizza with melamine-tainted dough — without asking for receipts — has sparked some people who never ate any of the tainted dough to take up the restaurant's offer anyway [ja]. At a thread on 2channel [ja], someone posted a Mixi diary entry by a 19-year-old student, who reports that he and his friends got 7500 yen from Saizeriya in refunds for tainted pizza they never ate.
