Pakistan: “Yet Another Cowardly Attack by the US”

United States attacks within Pakistani boundaries are not new to anyone. A few days ago, an attack on the Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan claimed the lives of at least 20 Pakistanis. But that’s not all. It is the fifth recent attack, and it claimed no less then 20 lives. The victims were innocent, they neither were terrorists nor supporters of terrorists, and they lost their lives in the “War against Terror”.

Brig (r) Junaid Zaman writes at The Pakistani Spectator:

The blood thirst of US forces hasn’t appeased yet and they are asking for “MORE”, and in their madness they have inaugurated their attack on the Pakistani soil. They have started from the Angor Adda, Waziristan, and they would not stop there. Scores of American soldiers came in four CH-47 Chinook transport helicopters, blasted their way into several houses and gunned down men they found there. All who died were civilians busy in preparing the Sehri, the start of the next fast. The causalities included women, children and men. When the other people reached there, they found all of them dead outside their homes with scores of bullets in their heads.

People from all fields including bloggers have condemned these attacks in strong words. Farhan at Guppu calls the attacks shameful, cowardly and a threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty and dignity.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi condemned this incident in strong words stating that they reserve the right to attack in response. The Jamat Islami Party leader Qazi Hussain Ahmed also condemned it with strong words saying that the government should not only reserve the right to attack in response, but that they should do it as it is necessity. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI) leader, Imran Khan blamed the government saying that US forces attacked with the consent of government officials who are carrying forward President Musharraf’s policies.

People seem disappointed by the government’s actions.

NEA at Buzzvines expresses his anger with the Pakistani government with these words: “How can someone attack Pakistan, when the attackers first rent Pakistan's army for selling and killing its few countrymen and then plan and jointly conduct the weeks-long war of terror in Pakistan. What a shame both for the army and the defence minister!!!!”

While Fahad at Chowrangi expresses his feelings with these words: “Allegedly Pakistan on Wednesday summoned the United States Ambassador Anne W. Patterson in the Foreign Office here to lodge a protest over Angoor Adda incident. Now it’s not really clear as Pakistani authorities lashed at the Patterson or Anne dear spewed venom at the Pakistani authorities for not giving enough blood to spill in Angoor Adda.”

Many bloggers have protested those attacks by displaying a badge that says “We Protest Against US attacks on Pakistan”.

    @A Peace Lover

I appreciate your comment, but let me clarify that Pakistani people love Americans but they hate Bush and his policies. And not to mention, even Americans hate their president Bush.

It is of no use to talk about him or her. The fact is there are terrorists and they trouble our country Afghanistan. And for Pakistanis: Afghanistan is not a play ground. It’s free country. Can have relationship with Inda and with any other country. It is wrong to raise terrorists inside Pakistan to confront the Afghanistan – India relationships. Wrong is wrong. It is our great demand from Pakistan to take it’s hand off Afghanistan and don’t play with Afghan Lives. Clean the terrorists and lets have good relationships all together. India Pakistan Afghanistan all in good relations with no terrorism. All the best.
A nation with good leaders we all need. We lack them and today we face all these problem.
LEADERs with justful values please. No attrocities, no corruption no bribery.

Pakistan’s plight is because of iltreatment of Ahmadies in Pakistan. The iliterate Mullahs of pakistan are the fitna behind all what is happening in pakistan in the name of religion Islam. These Mullahs know nothing what Islam is. Until these Mullahs are rooted out of the country the Nation of Pakistan will never see peace.

Muneer, To be Muslim, Christian , Jew or whatever, means to be Human. All these religions are men made. The Rich don’t bother much about religion but the poor know it everything. To celebrate, to morn to deffence to everything the poor put it on the fore front. But the rich never care of it. The rich can change even the rules, the guide lines of religion according to his wishes. Can you not see the Terrorists mainly from Saudi Arabia involved in terror acts in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Africa but they don’t do anything in Saudi Arabia knowing that Saudi King is Mr. Bush’s best friend and that the Saudis are good friends of Britian as well. Aren’t these Terrorists angry with UK and USA the most? I am doubtful about the terrorists that they know what they are doing on the commands of their rich leaders.
A mullah does nothing but fitna thats right. His job is very easy compared to one who work hard all the day long. A mullah is the ugly murderer of humans. May God open our eyes and make us able to see and give us manly courage to act against wrong.

Wow! Very well said! All Religions are men made. You are genius.

About Christianity: Islam confirms Christianity as one of early religions from God. We believe in Jesus Christ to be the messiah.

About Islam: you said Islam was man made, you mean made by Muhammad. Okay! Lets analyze some facts:

-Science has recently come to know about Big Bang, but Allah mentions it in Qur’an 1400 years ago

-The shape of the earth is spherical! Qur’an mentions 1400 years ago

-Plants have got lives and senses, and genders. Qur’an mentions 1400 years ago

-About Stars, Light of moon is not its own; Qur’an mentions 1400 years ago

-Living creatures contain 25%-90% water. Qur’an mentions 1400 years ago

and countless many other facts that science has proved recently and Muhammad mentions them 1400 years ago

and u still believe that Islam is man made religion? Strange!

The earth is round because the moon is visibly round Mr. Farhan Janjua.

And another thing, the FORCE that kept everything together in a balance system has no GENDER. Quraan so many times Addresses it as a MALE!!! That force cannot be imagined at all.
