avant [2] reported that famous flying saucer houses in Taipei County, Taiwan, are planned to be torn down.
Lynn [1] was one of the people who were amazed by these interesting and special houses.
This is wonderful. I'm thrilled to see this image. First, I just love the architecture for its complete difference. I hope you'll forgive me for saying this, but when I was a kid, growing up in Australia, I used to watch an American cartoon show called the Jetsons. It was extremely futuristic and these buildings really remind me of it; of what we might have thought in the '60s that we'd be living in by the 21st century. Secondly, it's an absolutely beautiful image. The colours are delicate yet still have a certain strength to them. The reflection helps to strengthen the palette. I just can't believe that this has been abandoned. I really hope that it is preserved.
Because the flying saucer houses are so special, avant [2] proposed that we should preserve them as a national historic monument.
