China: Opening ceremony deceptions continue to disappoint

This is starting to get a bit brutal; news today that the children seen in the harmonious 56 ethnic minorities—China's version of a multicultural policy—portion of the Olympics opening ceremony were actually all Han. Writes Twitter user @FrankYu: “China's Opn Cer. is facing a loss of credibility on the scale of the Wizard of Oz.”

The 1% room I feel sorry for China. Poor lady has to endure so much crap from the world.
Hi John, keep digging…put China in microscope….or else you won’t be able to get any sensational news for the media (western one though) or can i say..you would lose your revenue pipeline….haha..haha…. OOp ! maybe the hats / costumes the kids worn were not made in the province…or worst, maybe the shoes they worn were made in USA ! …hahaha
Criticism is also a reflection of a person.
To evaluating or analyzing it whether it is good for seeking self-improvement, would definitely bring benefits and progress to the People.
We can understand others more when they criticised, we know their positions (good or bad),what is their motives,to make benefits from good criticism and seek improvement.
We could also disagree to all “Nasty” and “Nonsense” criticism, hope that the explanation would bring enlightenment to them.
Like attracts like, nasty criticism attract nasty reply.
When I say 16 years old, I am not talking about looks. I am referring to the doctors (Swiss & French) who reviewed the children’s teeth, length of bones, bone mass and nail/hair growth who say they are not even 14. Free Tibet? They don’t even have free children. The one child each couple is allowed to have, that is.
Now here, we are not looking at anyone’s teeth, bone, bone mass…we look carefully at each criticism, analyse it properly of its hidden intention. I have already seen many many of your same kind, can you try something more creative ?
I thought the Russians and Muslims are evil, but Americans are satans. They put a on FAKE smile with bright FAKE veneers, but those are vampire teeth. They pretend to be your friend, and when you don’t look, they pull out their knives and stab you to death. Americans are much worse than terrorists.
I doubt it, but even if China did dress the Han kids in ethnic clothes, it means China respects the minorities. They are being represented. Do we ever see white boys and white girls wearing other countries’ costumes in USA?????????????????????
when USA does well in a sport, it’s automatically accept whereas other countries do well, it’s either cheating with age limit, doping, or just luck.
I am NOT suprised though, it’s very typical ARROGANT Americans’ behavior.
actually doping is lousy no matter what country’s athlete(s) do it. You must have missed Chan’s last post . . . and how are the monks in Tibet doing? Doping, are they?
You should analyse properly what is criticism of “your same kind”.
