Georgia: Regime Change

With Russian forces reported to be engaged in military action inside Georgia proper, Wu Wei says that Moscow now appears to be seeking the removal of the Georgian president, Mikhail Saakashvili, from power. The blog sarcastically remarks that the return of Saakashvili's predecessor, Eduard Shevardnadze, might suit Russian interests in installing a puppet as president.
