The annual Formoz Festival [2], Spring Scream [3], and Gung-liao Ho-hai-yan Rock Festival [4] are representative gatherings within Taiwan's indie scene. Of these, Formoz Festival is notable for its international draw.
Facing the threat of typhoon Phoenix, lots of people still decided to attend the Formoz Festival 2008. One of them was Stanley [5]:

People were eager to attend because there won't be Formoz Festival in the coming year. The Children's Recreation Center that has been chosen for holding Formoz Festival for several years will not be available next year, and it is not easy to find a proper location in a short time.

We will not see Formoz Festival next year. However, many of us are looking forward to see another Formoz Festival in the near future. One of the organizers, Carol [11], said,
