Global Voices OlympicsAlways a cynic and hardly a hater, humor blogger Wang Xiaofeng posted this today (and only this) with the title ‘noise games’, a play on the Chinese word for the Olympic games:

yea, I don’t like Bush, but I do NOT hate the republicans, no party is perfect ;-)

I wish China one day will ultimately reach democracy. One day at a time right? I long to see China and USA have great relationship again.

China and USA are two very unique nations, one ancient and one young. There’s so much to learn about these great civilizations.

    peace to all!

  • Here’s a T-shirt for sale in Beijing (25 RMB) that says “All actions against the Olympics are shameful!”

By the way, the two words that I must type in order to post this comment are “whipped woman”

  • go try it, morons. just expect to be bitch-slap by some Chinese who’ll see you wearing it. LOL

Au contraire, mon frère; I get high fives whenever I wear my Lei Feng T-shirt in China! Likewise foreigners could expect the same praise if seen wearing the 一切反奥运的行为都是可耻的 T-shirt, which is already being sold in Beijing.
I don’t beleive the “北京闹运” T-shirt would provoke violent reactions from Chinese either, but I probably wouldn’t wear the “中国加自由”T-shirt within a half kilometer radius of Tiananmen Square.

  • What about “Free China First”? I always wondered why nobody made that t-shirt.

  • Jk,you’re wondering ? why don’t you be the first to parade it around.

splunker, my bad. i’m glad local Chinese in Beijing isn’t angry at it. Btw,i was pretaining to the ‘Nolympic’ t-shirt, which is one the favorites among anti-China loons. my suggestion to you, go ahead and wear it around TNM square, so you can be famous.
