  Actually, there’s one solution the article didn’t really go into.

  The CCP can just outright buy a stake in a major news media outlet. Afterwards, they can either make it spin a story its direction or perhaps use it to vet journalists before bringing them into the Chinese media system.

  That’s not quite so shocking, especially since Rupert Murdoch has started to inject his own views into the WSJ.

  Will any body, other than Chinese, read/view any of the news media after Chinese government bought them. Actually, don’t they have major news media outlets already ? The whole world is reading them already, would adding new ones help ?

  Oh, will you stop reading WSJ because Murdoch owns it ? You should, really.
