I have read deeply the history of Tibet even tracing the roots of Buddhism which was brought to Tibet from China. The history was quite complex but I have no doubt at all that Tibet belong to China. If you read the text of the Dalai Lama you will notice that he never asked for independence because he knows Tibet is part of China. But I was surprise that the Dalai Lama was strongly link to the Nazi. I thought it was a lie until I check the internet. My respect for him has gone down the drain.

Vive la france. I have been reading the comments of these arrogant Chinese bloggers, and they have been attacking Americans, Canadians, French, British, Japanese, South Africans, Russians and practically every nationality when someone of that nationality disagrees with them that China is so grand, so great and the rest of the world has no choice but to look at them with dumb admiration. Its good that these Chinese full of hubris have fired the first shot by feebly trying to boycott Carrefour. I suggest that the 4.5 billion non-Chinese which is us, the rest of the world, START BOYCOTTING EVERYTHING CHINESE AND START RESTRUCTURING THE WORLD ECCONOMY SO THAT THE CHINESE WILL HAVE NO ONE TO TRADE WITH BUT THEMSELVES. Its going to be hard at the start, but as the Chinese themselves say, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. And it is absolutely necessary if we are not going to be bullied by this fascist undemocratic Chinese state without any care for human rights and whose only value is money.

Everyone ever has discontentment with their government, not only China .Have you ever been China? Have you been Tibet? Have you seen the Potala Palace? Do you think your media is more reliable? You have no rights to talk here ,either your government.I have friends in Tibet, some of them are tour guides, and one of them is lama. They are all live a peaceful life ,and they felt baffling of the riots. The ones who demand for Tibet dependence have their own purpose, they are selfish and cheeky. We love China although she still has many disadvantage, just like a person who is growing up ,faltering but towards the proper direction. Welcome to Beijing and open your eyes,to discover the true China. Anyway, it’s stupid to destroy torch relay ,the only result is showing their impudence .Are you true gentlemen, France? We boycott Carrefour, just because we don’t want to give even one cent to Dalai! He is totally swindler !!

I see some people here, including my Chinese fellows, claim credit on their opinions over the others. No one can bluff they hold ALL the truth. Being a Hong Kong Chinese having lived in HK, Canada, Singapore and now mainland China, I am still convinced there are anti-Chinese sentiments among westerners. Put it plainly, racism. Whether westerners want to admit it or not, they have not hold to the truth. Europeans and Americans have gradually abandoned their faith in Christianity. Now they resort to universal freedom and liberty, which is itself a generalisation per se. China is a closed door nation for thousands of year and it has only opened its door to the outside world in the last few decades after recovery from war torn periods. Westerners should not superimpose its value judgement on China. Boycotting Carrefour may be a ridicule of itself and Chinese themselves will suffer. But a message needs to be spread to the world, even at a high cost. If you have not read the history of China and Tibet, do so before making any specific comment here. Why Chinese are so stupid to support their government? Ask those Americans who support their government in the Iraq War.

  • I will boycott this shit product Made in China that kills our pet here in America.

“who works at carrefour in china? (chinese people) Who buys products at carrefour (chinese people) Who benefits at least a certain percent from sales made at carrefour? (CHINA)”
Well, that’s right in some point. But is’nt it mutual to both side? Chinese will pay for what they choose, and they choose letting French suffer more. That’s the reason for boycotting carrefour!
Personally, I do repect some westerners. But I also find the other barely know nothing, but are too hurry to give a conclusion.
THIS IS NOT A WAR FOR FREEDOM, THIS IS A WAR KEEPS CHINESE FROM FREELY DECIDE THEIR OWN DESTINY!
So shut up, and quit critisize about human rights. You NEVER lived there!
