No one should be above the law. Continental Airlines is merely following standard TSA policy and procedure and should be commended for sticking to their guns. If my ass is going to be frisked whenever I fly, why not the President of Palau or the Queen of England? Just because they’re state dignitaries doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t follow the rules. While I’m all for giving them diplomatic respect, it doesn’t mean that they’re exempted from following the law.

All foreigners either dignitaries, presidents or any other government official visiting the country for a summit or whatever political agenda must follow the rules of airport procedures when entering the country. Yes I know they are high ranking officials but they must not break the law of the Philippines and air travel laws in this country they must not be given special treatment they must all undergo the same procedure that the citizens of this country and other foreigners visiting the country.

Continental Airlines is just following air safety rules and regulations and Mr.Remengesau must also follow the procedures which other passengers do as well.
