  Oh vijey,

  We should see the reality now. See, were the LTTE able to restore the peace in country or get a seperate land for tamils even after 20 years?

  Moreover, when LTTE is in the peak and the government is scared of it, why don’t they get the necessary rights for us as much as possible and let us live in peace and give the SL government nightmare whenever they thought of neglecting tamil’s rights.

  Okey, LTTE went for the war again. Imagine what will happen if the LTTE is defeated in the present war? What will happen for the future of tamils of srilanka? Will we able to live with peace? We are innocent but once the LTTE is defeated all the tamils will fall into the same catagory.

  If LTTE is really wants to bring a peaceful life for us, it should have gone for unconditional peace talk with Rnils government and bring the peace for us. As the result of it, we would be able to threaten the government reminding that we may go for the war when the rights are denied. (al in all, what are the rights denied now????)

  Vijey, we need a solution, not the war again. If LTTE is far sighted and really patriotic, they should understand the present situation. If LTTE doesn’t act accordingly, and war continues, one day will come when you will see tamils of south against the tamils of north. Then the bloody LTTE will be havig nowhere to go.

  Oh reju,

  One of the reasons, Tamil was made an “Official Language”, happens to be the Indo-Lanka accord which would not have happened if there was NO LTTE.

  IF the sinhalese govt really gave a damn, they would have given EQUAL rights to the Tamils in terms of language, religion, jobs, education – IF that is given out, there will not be any necessity for the Tamils to support LTTE.

  Even now, most of the international human rights groups have moved out of the island accusing the govt of forced disappearances and kidnapping – the kind that was unleashed on JVP during the late 80s.

  LTTE’s goal is NOT equal rights within the same country but EQUAL rights in Eelam.

  Expecting the sinhalese to change their ways and to amend the constitution to provide equal rights to the Tamils is absurd and will NOT happen.

  Okey Vijey,

  Where are you now? We hope you are in somewhere in Europe or USA or in India.

  So, enjoy your life with numerous comforts and plenty of facilities. By the time you and your friends come out of these dreams, we might have died. But still you can enjoy because you are not at all sufering now.

  And also we know there are written constitutions in europian countries and India to help the tamils of srilanka!!!!!!!!!!

  comments and observation should reflect good intensions and considerations .Super powers are playing politics in Indian ocean. worried about the growth and stablity of the region. players namely America,India, pakistan,and china . American want to destablize the rigion by promoting war affairs through their agents like Norway,and Japan to see the down fall of the indian and chinese economical grouth. India is worried peace in sri Lanka will pave path to growth and stablity like singapore. Think better and promote healthy discussion.

  who the hell is India to interfere in srilankan issues?

  We know how to do the thing as per our convenience. India can solve its own problems such as war in Kashmir, unemployment throughout the country, bribary and corruption in public service ect etc etc….

  Before trying to solve the ethinic prblems in srilanka india better solve its own.

  India promoted the grouth of all so called groups and segragated them for the their beneficial interest and stagin a drama by financing them even to some groups of the south part of Sri Lanka. one time advocated self determination. Time has for all the people of sri Lanka realize and get into genuine Dialouge and solve the existing problem without hiding behind the mask “War On terroism of Joker War Bush’ and engage in genocidal cleansing of Tamils and grab their property in north and east of sri Lanka.
