Uzbekistan: Education Officials Underrates Students

David Walther reports that the universities in Uzbekistan have been ordered by the Ministry of Education to purposely lower the quantity of students receiving A’s in order to economize on stipends.

    Well, if that’s true than our government can’t be more stubid than now. They have already reached the lower limit of the scholarships, cause my B-grade scholarship lasted 2 or 3 days, and now they want cut off from the top. If they want to save some money then they shouldn’t bother with it. To get “A”s on all the subjects would cost you more than the entire A-grade scholarship. Who needs an A and have resources for it, will get it.
