Saudi Arabia: No Coffee for Women

From Saudi Arabia, Lalla Mona posts two pictures of signs: one from 1931 America which says “Public Swimming Pool: Whites Only” and the second from modern day Saudi Arabia which says “Following the directives of The Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, offering coffee to women in banned.”

  • Human rights are all about respect for the individual. There are no minor issues. Drinking a cup of coffee can be as important as abolishing slavery.

    listen dude drinking coffee is allowed for all the women and everyone in saudi arabia, but drinking inside the shop isn’t allowed in some of the stores that sprate single men from the families and individual women .. do u understand know.
