I want to sharwith you guys about the most beautiful movie ever made in Colombia: MIRACLE IN THE LAND OF COFFEE, it’s like a poem, a song to LIFE!!

  • Check out the fascinating story of FARC negotiator, Simon Trinidad, who was sentenced on January 28 to 60 years for conspiracy to kidnap three military hostages. He was sentenced in US District Court in Washington DC under Colombian law guidelines drawn up by the USAID after the commission of the crime in 2003! Prior to the sentencing he is given the opportunity to make a statement and like any good revolutionary, he is not at a loss for words.

Read about the convoluted path of his trial and sentencing and his incredible revolutionary statement at:

Violence can be uplifting when there are ideals, poetry, and justice, but something might be wrong when it is enforced on a country for more that 50 years with no other outcome than destruction. Violence can blind ideas and turn them into insanity. There is nothing “revolutionary” about FARC…
FARC leaders have just lost themselves in the Andine Mountains for half a century, exiling themselves from progress, evolution and society. Hidden and “infiltrated” they have lost their common sense, their dignity, their culture and their God, extenuating the means of violence for the only power they can ever obtain: FEAR. It’s hard to cope with Colombians resistance (and by resistance I am not addressing a minority), because FARC “fascinating” ideals can’t spoil the good education and morals of the average people able to recognize good from evil after years of tolerant sight.
for those lovers of revolution and its ideals, I’ll recommend to watch the most inspiring groups of them all: the average Colombian people marching this 4 of February around the world. that concept might be more fascinating. The only poetic icon about FARC Revolutionary statement is extinct and nonrenewable because it has been corrupted by the power of terror.
