It is a clear revenge of a military dictator. For the last months mussarf is licking his spit as US was forcing him to have friendship ties with Bhutto.Army men never forgets his enemies. He killed all his enemies in last years and removed CJP by his unlawful acts as all were creating hindrance in is mission that is to rule the country without any oppositon. Now he is punishing his nation for showing resentment against him by giving them crisis of power, flour, insecurity and high inflation. He is forcing the people to love and accept his unseen virtues.God save our country from this mad man.

PARADE magazine had an article in yesterday’s (January 6, 2008) issue with Bhutto on the cover. Nothing told the story better than the quote on the cover: ‘I am what the terrorists most fear’. True. An educated, democratically active WOMAN. Her message has not been silenced. Mussaraf doesn’t have long. He can’t destroy all Pakistan without help. Let us tell the U.S. not to help this weasel.

Different political parties specially the two leading mainstream political parties have been accusing the present government , Q-league and agencies for pre-poll rigging. the government is denying the allegations and always claim to conduct free, fair and impartial elections in the country. In fact PPP leadership has rightly pointed out that Local bodies elected representatives are key players in this election campaign. They are running all government resources for their favorites and running the show for their parties.

In Karachi, MQM has absolute majority in the local bodies and their Nazims, Naib Nazims, UC nazims and UC councilors are no more exceptions. they are holding various portfolios in city government and therefore carrying out election campaign for their party without any fear. Its a gross violation of elections Rules and Election Commission should take immediate notice of such rigging in national and provincial elections. KWSB is also a victim and two ex-Memeber Sindh Assemblies are still holding the charge of Additional vice Chairman, ignoring all norms and practices. Mr.Imamuddin Shezad and Moin Khan were given this additional charge and inducted in KWSB. in spite of the fact, posts do not exist within the approved structure of KWSB, they are continuously y interference in Board’s affairs without having any law full authority. They are still enjoying all perks and privileges for which they are not entitled under any law such as Police guards, offices, telephone services both at office and residences, more than one vehicle with POL and drivers. They are also addressing public gatherings by using the government resources which is totally unfair on their part and thus providing level playing field to all contesting candidates.
It is a gross violation of election rules and election Commission of Pakistan should take immediate action to stop such practice otherwise claim of fair free and impartial elections would remain in shelves and severely tarnish the image of Pakistan. All candidates using government resources in their election campaign should be disqualified for the sanctity of the upcoming elections.
