Since he was a little boy, my abuelito followed his hometown Santos (he later moved to La Paz, then Cochabamba, then Santa Cruz). He would often go to other soccer matches (he was a devotee of the sport) in Santa Cruz w/ a pocket radio we sent from the US. It was always tuned to the Oruro game. He’s been dead about three years now, but I’m sure he’s smiling in heaven.
Thanks, Miguel for sharing that.
