The blog of Vladimir Gushchin, International Communications Director of the RIA Novosti News Agency, posts an entry saying that his Georgian friends consider their president to be pushing the country to the “edge of civil war.” However, while believing that Saakashvili's resignation is not the answer, Gushchin hopes that his friends in Tbilisi will “finally get some stability in their life” and “proper and correct leaders.”
