Georgia: Former Defense Minister Seeks Treatment Abroad

Ahead of today's planned opposition rally in Tbilisi, TOL Georgia reports that former Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili has left the country. Okruashvili as arrested last month after he accused the Georgian president of corruption and conspiring to have political opponents killed. His supporters claim that his release came only after he retracted the accusations under duress. TOL Georgia wonders if his departure to receive medical treatment abroad isn't linked to such suspicions.
