Nigeria: an illegitimate government

Adeola calls the Nigerian governmet “a disastrous illegitimate government”: How can the Attorney General of Nigeria write a letter to the British Police or Judiciary to let go of one of the several thieves that have looted our treasury. Is that not madness? How can such a nonentity be the attorney general in Nigeria?

With due respect to you Ndesanjo, I believe he is not a nonentity.

In our quest to rid this country of corrupt persons how pose as politicians and leaders, we must not set precedence that will put truly innocent individuals at the mercy of foreign police officers. They already think we are all corrupt anyway.

We are all truly flustered at the problems that beset this great country because of the greed of few individuals; the deplorable infrastructure, lack of health facilities, salaries of hardworking Nigerians not paid, we can go on and on. But let us be patient and fight a good fight so that we do not ourselves fight illegality with illegality.
