Falstaff isn't amused with an article in the NY Times about cricket, Twenty20 and India.

  • I found his fulminations entertaining but over the top

    For one, the article appeared in the NY Times and not in the The Hindu or TOI.

    Secondly, it was written for an audience unfamiliar with cricket and hence a lot of facts had to be recounted to make them understand the contrast between T20 and traditional Test match cricket. (Reference to the knit vest).

    Thirdly, most of us will agree that we (Indian’s) are un- athletic and it in no way a question on our manhood to be described as such.
