Global Voices author Juliana Rincón [1] aka Medea was recently invited to the Pop!Tech conference next month. However, the scholarship did not cover much of the travel expenses to Maine. As a result, the Medellin blogging community has organized [2] a Medeatón [3] to help raise funds to send her to Maine in order to share about the projects in the Colombian city. In addition to raffling off a free blog design and hosting, funds will be raised through an art sale and t-shirt sales.
